After rebranding my business and re-designing my website I was eager to get new business cards to match.  I have had 2 years of experience handing out business cards and I knew I needed my cards to make more of an impact.

I thought, what are my business cards supposed to accomplish?  Well, I want the person I am handing them to, to see my work and know how to contact me. That’s it. So I decided to put my images on the front of the card, since I am a photographer I wanted my work to speak for itself and to have all my contact information, including social media on the back.

Once I designed my cards on photoshop, I had to decide on which business card company to go with.  Being from Canada, I didn’t want to go with an American company for 2 reasons. One, I wanted to be able to contribute to the Canadian economy instead of the American. Two, the Canadian dollar is low, ridiculously low.  So after saying that, why did I decide to go with Moo?  They just happened to have a promotion going on while I was designing my cards and I heard of their great quality.  I had to give them a try.  I decided to go with the Luxe business cards with the chilli red seam (since by brand colour is red), the matte finish and the Moo size.  What are Moo size cards?  They are a bit more square than conventional cards, and in my opinion aesthetically more appealing.  Here is what it cost. Luckily the order was in Canadian dollars, so it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.

If you are looking for new business cards, I would totally recommend Moo. They arrived on time, nicely packaged, the cards are beautiful, high quality and definitely make an impact every time I hand them out. If you are in the market for new business cards, I hope this post helps!
